January 2026 | A New Year and Many New Opportunities at SDUIH
I am now officially 6 months old at South Dakota Urban Indian Health. What an honor and wonderful opportunity it has been for me and my family!
As we begin a brand-new year, I want to move forward in gratitude. First, our SDUIH staff and Board of Directors are 100% invested in the work we do. Each member of the team deserves a personal shoutout and a lot more expressed about them and their daily efforts to support the health and well-being of our tribal and non-tribal relatives.
And to the relatives we see, who trust us with their care, thank you! We know seeking health care is not always fun but the fact that you do so deserves a high five! Taking care of yourself and your family makes our communities stronger and more resilient.
To Joe Amiotte (I.H.S. Area Director) and his team at Great Plains Indian Health Service, your belief in us in 2025 cannot be overstated. We will celebrate you and your continued commitment to us sometime in the spring of 2026.
