Help us welcome our new logo and branding!
We’re thrilled to announce our refreshed visual representation of SDUIH!
Everything has a brand; businesses, organizations, even people. A brand creates a lasting impression and a distinguishing factor that instantly communicates who that business, organization, or person is.
When we decided it was time to update the look and feel of our communications and marketing materials, we asked our staff to think about the words that come to mind about our organization, our patients, and our communities. The themes that emerged were words like compassionate, welcoming, diverse, resilient, and empowered. Using these themes and working with a talented illustrator, we wanted to communicate our brand in a way that centered on Indigenous lifeways. We also wanted to incorporate elements that express things that make us unique:
Our new logo is the visualization of our organization – hand drawn to show person-centered care, an eagle feather to show strength and trust, and a skyline depicting the home our patients have found outside of rural tribal communities.
Look for our new brand identity as it rolls out across all of our communications. Even better yet, stop by our clinics to see the exciting updates to our new look!
